James King

Formerly a Director in China Concept's Beijing office, Mr. King maintains strong contacts in the E.U. and provides European client liaison services from his base in Brussels.  Mr. King has a background in agriculture, having worked at the Land Management Office at Cambridge University and studied at the Royal Agricultural College in England.

Mr. King has managed agribusiness projects for China Concept client Pfizer Animal Health and worked with other clients including Cartier, Siemens, Thyssen Krupp, Eagle Star and Standard Life.

Tovah LaDier
Senior Board Advisor, Washington D.C.

Ms. LaDier is the founder and president of Results Worldwide, an intercultural advisory firm.  Her company provides tools to senior executives who operate in the global market to recognize, relate to and profitably engage with business cultures other than their own.

Prior to founding Results Worldwide, Ms. LaDier served as Executive Director of the Mansfield Center for Pacific Affairs and practiced corporate law as a partner in Preston, Gates, Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds.  She specialized in tax, trade, energy, and environmental issues and the administrative and legislative representation of numerous Fortune 500 clients.

Ms. LaDier provides local support and liaison in the U.S. and advises on the cultural issues affecting business.

Jiemin Sheng
Legal Advisor

Professor Sheng is a specialist legal advisor attached to China Concept's Beijing office.  He is currently Professor of Law at Peking University, and is a Member of the China Economic Law Institute.  He has worked as a consultant to the State Council and government departments such as MOFTEC and the State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
